Qasr Qarun

This temple is dedicated to the Fayoumi god Sobek, built during Ptolemaic times. From the outside it appears as
a simple square building, but from the inside, it is a maze of rooms and staircases, all ending on the roof. Around 35 km from the city lying at the far western end of Lake Qarun
